This episode was amazing. I’ll honestly probably listen to it a few more times. It helped me recognize areas of my life that need improvement, such as communication in relationships (specifically romantic ones) that I have been pushing off to the side for way too long. The conversation about respect when it comes to a phone call. That seriously resonated with me. But it’s funny because I didn’t even realize it until it happened to me shortly after. I applied what Gee was talking about to a real life scenario where I spoke up for mutual respect in my relationship when my partner didn’t call me at the time they said they would, leaving me to stay up late waiting for their call. I wouldn’t have spoken up for myself if it wasn’t for Gee and Tiffany’s conversation in this episode. I felt strong after communicating my needs and my partner was super receptive and apologetic! A better outcome than I expected because of past trauma and gaslighting with different men in my life. Thank you thank you thank you times a million for openly talking about respect in relationships and how your time is important and needs to be prioritized when you say you will. This podcast is perfect.
